In India, NGOs can receive funding through various channels, including government schemes, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions under the Companies Act, and foreign contributions regulated under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA). To obtain grants, NGOs are required to submit detailed project proposals, financial statements, registration documents, and proof of compliance such as 12A and 80G certificates where applicable.
