A Health Trade Licence is a permission given by the health department of your local municipal body to run a business that can affect public health. It is mostly needed for food-related businesses, such as restaurants, sweet shops, bakeries and eating places. It is also called a Health Licence or Health Trade Licence in many cities.
The licence shows that your premises are clean, safe and fit for the work you do. The municipal health officer or sanitary inspector can check the place before giving the licence.
