What is GST Registration?
GST registration is the process of enrolling your business with the GST department of the government, so that you can legally collect and pay Goods and Services Tax. After your application is approved, you get a 15-digit GST Identification Number (GSTIN) and a GST Registration Certificate.
Without a GST number, a business that is required to register cannot issue a tax invoice, collect GST from customers or claim input tax credit on its purchases. Many banks, marketplaces and large buyers also ask for the GST number before they work with a business.
CA Arpit Gupta helps you with GST registration from start to finish: checking if you need it, preparing the documents, filing the application and replying to the department if any question comes up.
